Dr. Candice Smithyman

Candice is  an apostolic and prophetic revivalist and healing minister. She is Founding Pastor (Retired) of Freedom Destiny Church in Orange Park, Florida, with her husband, Adam. She is also Founder and Vice President of Dream Mentors Transformational Life Coaching Institute, a biblical life counseling and coaching educational organization that teaches and trains educators and coaches in the specialty of life coaching. She received her Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Counseling from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. She also holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Truth Bible College and Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida, and has her Masters of Arts in Human Relations/Christian Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She also holds a Masters in Theology from the International College of Excellence in Tinley Park, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, from James Madison University. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty Professor for Liberty University and other universities.

 

She is the Host of the Glory Road TV Show on Faith Networks and has appeared on international and local television and radio programs including: Sid Roth It’s Supernatural, Today with Marilyn and Sarah, Patricia King Everlasting Love show, Paula White Today show,  the Homekeepers Show, and the Total Living Network’s Significant Living program. She authored many books including her newest release, "Angels of Fire: The Ministry of Angels in the End Time Revival" (07/2021, Destiny Image) , and, “Releasing Heaven: Creating a Supernatural Environment through Heavenly Encounters.” (02/2020, Destiny Image) She has been a featured writer for Charisma, Elijah List, Spirit Fuel, and others.   She has On the Glory Road podcast with Destiny Image Podcast Network and Manifest His Presence with Charisma Podcast Network. 

 

She was the 2009 Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Prayer Breakfast Speaker, holding this title with Hollywood actors such as Robert Wagner and Kirk Cameron, and Chick-fil-A Founder Truitt Cathy among others. Her passion is evangelism, missions and healing, she has ministered at many churches and events.

She has written biblical life coaching curriculum for secular and Christian organizations. Candice is a Board Certified Christian Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors, and is an ordained minister with One Focus in Hampton Roads, VA. She is also a life coach with Patricia King’s Women in Ministry Network, and is mother to three beautiful  gifted children, Alexandria, Nicholas and Samantha and spouses.
